Daniel Ying

Bio

Daniel is an Executive Director on the Asia team and joined the firm in 2018. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Daniel worked as an Assistant VP in C-Bridge Capital focusing on pharmaceutical/biotech investments. He has also worked in IMS Consulting Group (now part of IQVIA) previously. Daniel received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in Chemistry from Tsinghua University. Out of the office, Daniel enjoys reading and swimming and is a good Weiqi (Go) player.
