Bio
Cason is a quantitative analyst who has been with OrbiMed since 2012. At OrbiMed, he leads quantitative trading, AI/ML development, data science, and software engineering initiatives across the firm’s business units and products. Before joining OrbiMed, Cason was deeply involved in technology-related entrepreneurship during his undergraduate years, founding and successfully selling several projects for seven-figure valuations. He earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from the NYU Stern School of Business in 2012 and received his CFA charter in 2015. Outside of his professional life, Cason was a nationally ranked youth soccer player, a poker coach specializing in game theory optimal (GTO) strategy and has reached 9-dan status in online Go, reflecting his diverse talents and interests.
