Jessica Zhang

Bio

Jessica joined OrbiMed in 2022 and is a Senior Associate on the Private Equity team. Prior to joining OrbiMed, Jessica was an Associate at 6 Dimensions Capital, where she worked on early-stage biotech investment and company incubation. Before her work in venture capital, she was a Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Jessica obtained a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she researched the neuronal mechanisms of valence encoding and memory. She received her B.Sc. degree in Biology from Peking University in China. Outside the office, Jessica enjoys running, biking, watching ballet, and playing with her maltipoo.
