Rishi Gupta, J.D.

Bio

Rishi joined OrbiMed in 2003. He is a Partner at the firm and helps lead the venture capital business. Current OrbiMed investments that Rishi has led include Charm Therapeutics, Delfi Diagnostics, Enliven Therapeutics, NeuroPace, Turnstone Biologics, and Verona Pharma.  Previously, Rishi was a healthcare investment banker at Raymond James & Associates, served as Manager of Corporate Development at Veritas Medicine, and was a summer associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. He received his A.B. degree magna cum laude in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard College and holds a J.D. from the Yale Law School. Outside the office, Rishi enjoys playing tennis and searching for great food and sweet treats with his wife and two daughters.
